Haryana SSC CET recruitment 2025: Check dates, eligibility, deadline & more

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially opened the registration window for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 for Group C posts in various government departments across the state. The CET serves as a preliminary written test to select eligible candidates for different roles in government services.
Registration Details
As per the official notification, online applications for the Haryana CET 2025 can be submitted between May 28 and June 12, 2025. The last date for fee payment is June 14, 2025.
Candidates are advised to complete their applications within the given timeline to avoid any last-minute issues. A separate notification regarding the CET for Group D posts will be released after the completion of the Group C registration process. The exam date will be announced later.
Available Group C and Group D Positions
The Group C category includes a wide range of government roles, such as:
- Junior Engineers
- Clerks
- Excise and Taxation Inspectors
- Auditors
- Assistant Managers
- Patwaris
- Male and Female Police Constables
Meanwhile, Group D positions will cover entry-level roles, including:
- Peon
- Animal Attendant
- Helper
- Gardener
- Cook
- Water Carrier
Important Guidelines for Applicants
Applicants should ensure that their documents are in order before beginning the registration process. If there are any discrepancies in official records, candidates are strongly advised to update personal information such as:
- Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
These updates should be made in both the Aadhaar Card and Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) to ensure consistency and avoid registration issues.
CET Score Validity
The CET score will remain valid for three years. If a candidate appears for the CET again during this period and secures a better score, the new score will replace the old one, and its validity will begin from the announcement date of the latest result.
Chief Minister’s Announcement
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini confirmed that the CET will be held soon, emphasizing that online applications open on May 28. He described the exam as a major employment opportunity for thousands of youth across the state.
